Sights + Sounds at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park

This Saturday night, August 4th, Midori is hosting a great Big Sonic Chill event called Sights + Sounds. It’s happening at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park. The evening will feature a variety of sensory pleasures.

You’ll be able to experience all of the amazing exhibits at the San Diego Museum of Art, including a new special exhibit called Contemporary Links, in which a modern artist, Alexandre Arrechea, has created his own work based on works in the museum’s permanent collection. We’re also excited to bring two exciting musical experiences to the event as well. SSI, a local DJ/electronic collective will be playing tunes during “cocktail hour” in the rotunda and local Big Sonic Chill artists Starline Theorie will close the night with a live musical performance in the auditorium.

Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy a Trumer Pils and other adult beverages at one of the bars set-up around the museum. There will also be complimentary, light culinary treats served under the night sky of the sculpture garden. With food, drinks, live music and art, there will be a lot to experience all in the beauty of the San Diego Museum of Art.

Sights + Sounds is sure to be a one of a kind event and we hope you can make it there. Tickets are just $25 and are available for purchase on-line or you can buy them at the museum during their normal hours to avoid the Ticketmaster charges.
